How are animals affected by the wildfires throughout Northern California? In this month’s Pet Tales, pet expert Gina Spadafori explains the impact smoke can have on their lungs, the best ways to get them evacuated and how to protect them from fire dangers.

Alana Curtis, head trainer at Sunfire Equestrian in Woodland, singlehandedly organized the evacuation of more than 100 animals, including horses, goats, donkeys and more. She joins Gina to discuss the evacuation process.
