Family Secrets Help 'Eagle & Crane' Soar

Author Suzanne Rindell's new book, "Eagle & Crane," tells the story of two aerialists during the internment of Japanese Americans in the U.S. in World War II.

Set during the U.S. internment of Japanese Americans in World War II, “Eagle & Crane” is the story of two young daredevil flyers caught in a family feud and stuck in a love triangle. Author Suzanne Rindell joins Insight Host Beth Ruyak in studio to talk about her new novel, which takes place in Placer County. She’s hosting an author event tonight at Face in a Book in El Dorado Hills at 6:30 p.m.
