Comedian Jason Anderson Opens Up About Recovery And Career Opportunities


Comedian Jason Anderson is performing on stage and on screen this week. He landed a bit part in the movie "Traffik" (as "Guy on Drugs in Nightclub"), and he's opening for Thai Rivera and Robert Omoto at Laughs Unlimited Comedy Club and Lounge in Old Sacramento this weekend.

Anderson returns to Insight to talk about his journey of recovery, the career opportunities that he's created since getting clean and how he works it into his act on stage.

You can see Anderson perform at Laughs Unlimited on June 1 (8 and 10 p.m.), June 2 (8 and 10 p.m.), and June 3 (7 p.m.), or at Stanislaus Brewing Company in Modesto on June 12 (9 p.m.).

You can also catch him at the Sacramento Standup Competition on June 22 and 23 at the Comedy Spot in Midtown. He will also be featured on the comedy stage at the XO Music Festival July 13-15 in Antioch at the Contra Costa County Fairgrounds.
