Californians Speak Out On Election And Public Policy Issues Leading Up To November

How are Californians feeling about the U.S. Senate race between Kamala Harris and Loretta Sanchez?

Will voters decide to legalize recreational marijuana - Proposition 64 - or do away with the death penalty – Proposition 62?

And what do they think are the most pressing issues facing voters in November?

For Thursday's Insight, we’ll take a look at the results of a new poll conducted by CalSpeaks Opinion Research Center at the Institute for Social Research at Sacramento State.

Kim Nalder, director of Project for an Informed Electorate at Sac State, join us in studio to talk about Californian’s electoral and public policy attitudes.

Editors Note: The poll’s responses on ballot races and measures include only registered voters. A broader sample, including 92 percent registered voters, responded to questions regarding issues such as the economy and the California Dream, capturing the sentiments of a larger sampling of California residents.
