How Could GOP Tax Bill Affect California?

Congress is poised to take action the week on a sweeping tax overhaul that would have serious implications on the finances and healthcare of millions of Americans.

Some economists argue that states like California are particularly vulnerable because of the taxes is already pays to the federal government and the number of people who currently benefit from federally subsidized programs like Medi-Cal.

Chris Hoene from the California Budget and Policy Center breaks down where people will likely see the greatest changes in their finances if the Republican-led bill is passed.
