Sacramento’s "Symphony of 1000" was a huge success in 2014. This year, "Symphony of 2000" is planned for Nov. 20 at the Memorial Auditorium.

One-thousand musicians will accompany 1,000 singers and all-skill levels are welcome.  The challenge now, though, is to recruit those 1,000 voices as only 150 singers have signed up.

Maestro Michael Neumann, long-time conductor of the Sacramento Youth Symphony hopes to invite more community participation.
