Super Bowl Avocado Consumption

Take a look down at that bowl of guacamole in your lap this Sunday. Chances are your avocados came from Mexico. But even though most avocados consumed this Super Bowl Sunday aren’t from California, that doesn’t mean the increase in demand isn’t a boon for the state’s growers. Avocado grower Ed McFadden joins us to talk about how growing demand for the fruit once-known as the “alligator pear” is benefiting California avocado growers.
