Chris Pedersen's "Ethan Blecher Braves a Bully"

Ethan Blecher Braves a Bully, a children’s fictional chapter book for ages 7-9 authored by Chris Pedersen, follows the story of a boy who finds himself bullied in school. The protagonist, Ethan, is forced to face his school bully and nemesis, Blake, who shows up at the spring camp Ethan’s parents send him away to.

Chris Pedersen aims to bring awareness to the issue of bullying and empower youth through this series. “It explores independence, managing conflict and difficult people, overcoming adversity, responding to inappropriate behavior, finding inner strength, relying on good judgment to solve problems, team work, personal discovery, emotional and creative intelligence, and reasoning.”
