A new report by the Center for Investigative Reporting has found that 2 out of every 3 GI Bill dollars going to for-profit colleges, which have high price tags and low graduation rates. The University of Phoenix is one of the largest benefactors of the GI Bill, according to the report, with the San Diego Campus taking in $95 million in GI Bill money since 2009. The author of the report, Aaron Glantz, spoke about the report on Insight Tuesday, July 2 but a representative from the University of Phoenix was absent to address the claims in the report.
