Atmospheric River Brings Flooding, Road Closures

An atmospheric river this weekend caused flooding and road closures across California. We talk with several reporters, witnesses and officials on Insight about the various effects of the storm.

CapRadio's Bob Moffitt talks about the effects of the storm in Sacramento. He also discusses the opening of the Sacramento Weir gates Monday afternoon.

YubaNet Pascale Fusshoeller updates the situation in Yuba County and the several inches of rain received over the weekend. The Yuba River crested early Monday morning and dropped slowly after.

KVGC reporter J.D. Guidi describes the storm impact and power outages that took place in Calaveras County.

Marvin Boyd, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Reno joins Insight to give a report of what is happening in Nevada.
