Postmodern Jukebox: Pop Meets Old Time Jazz In A Unique Alzheimer’s Event Thursday, November 17, 2016 | Sacramento, CA Listen / download audio Update RequiredTo play audio, update browser or Flash plugin. Imagine Guns N’ Roses classic hit "Sweet Child 'o' Mine" with a powerful female vocalist and New Orleans-style jazz trumpets. Or Macklemore’s "Thrift Shop" to a '20s doo-wop tune. Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox is re-imagining how we listen to modern pop classics by transposing them into musical styles from the past. The group is making its way to Sacramento’s Community Theatre this Sunday in a special benefit concert for Sacramento’s Alzheimer’s Aid Society. Max Perry with the Aid Society joins us in studio and Scott Bradlee joins us from New York to discuss this unique event.
