Poet Rae Gouirand Shares Selections From Two New Collections

Poet Rae Gouirand shares selections from her new collections “Must Apple” and “Glass Is Glass Water Is Water.” These are her second and third poetry collections, which follow her prize-winning 2011 collection “Open Winter.”

Gouirand teaches poetry and creative nonfiction writing at UC Davis in the English Department. Her poems have been featured in American Poetry Review, ZYZZYVA, The Rumpus, The Kenyon Review, diode, Crazyhorse, and many more publications.

Rae Gouirand is hosting a double release party for both collections on Thursday, Nov. 8 at Morgan’s Mill in Woodland at 7:00 p.m. Special editions of her poetry collections will be available for purchase after the reading.
