Placer County: Seeking Poll Workers

Placer County is one of a number of California counties looking for poll workers on Election Day.  The job is critical to protecting the right to vote and more than 100,000 people will be needed to staff the state's more than 24,000 polling places.  The one-day job pays $85 to $120.  Deputy Secretary of State, Nicole Winger, will explain the role and duties of poll workers in California.
