Neal Conan You may know him as the voice of reason from his time hosting NPR’s "Talk of the Nation." Now, you have the opportunity to hear Neal Conan in an entirely new fashion - reading the words of great authors like Jack London. Conan is joining with the instrumental group Ensemble Galilei for "A Winter's Night: Music and Poetry for the Solstice" this Saturday at the Center for the Arts in Grass Valley. He'll be reading the texts of Jack London, Ogden Nash, May Sarton and Jim Harrison while Ensemble Galilei provide musical accompaniment. Conan spoke with us from UC Berkeley earlier in the week about the show and how he's been spending his time since Talk of the Nation ended.
