Male Breast Cancer Woman are a hundred times more likely to get breast cancer than men. But that doesn't mean guys have nothing to worry about. In 2013, more than 2,000 men were diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States, according to the American Breast Cancer Society. John DiMichele lives in Fairfield and never knew men could get breast cancer until he was diagnosed with an invasive ductal carcinoma in 2011. Now, he's making it a duty to warn men about the risk of breast cancer. He joins us to share his experience with cancer ahead of this Sunday's "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" fundraising walk.

Maggie McKaig Nevada City musician Maggie McKaig has been searching for the past 30 years to learn more about a tragic murder that shook her family 150 years ago. And what Maggie’s uncovered during all of these years of digging and searching for answers has inspired her to share her story. This Friday, Maggie is performing a one-night only show "Cumberland Suite" at the Nevada Theatre in Nevada City. Cumberland Suite is Maggie's American story, a personal history of the Civil War and its aftermath, told through song, music, and spoken word.

"Two in Tune" Two-time Grammy Award winner and regional Emmy Award winner, Sylvia McNair, will be performing the songs of George and Ira Gershwin with the Sacramento Philharmonic this Saturday. The concert will also be the launch for a series of collaborations between the Sacramento Philharmonic and the Sacramento Opera called "Two in Tune." McNair and Sacramento Philharmonic Conductor Michael Morgan join us to discuss the upcoming Gershwin concerts.
