Insight: Lake Tahoe Summit / Future of Newspapers / "Grape & Gourmet" / "In the Mood"

Lake Tahoe Summit Political leaders from California and Nevada - even a former vice president - are converging on the north shore of Lake Tahoe today to discuss plans for preserving the natural beauty of the lake. Former Vice President Al Gore, California Governor Jerry Brown and Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval are participating in the Lake Tahoe Summit, with Gore delivering the key note speech. The summits have taken place yearly in Tahoe since President Bill Clinton and Al Gore initiated the first gathering there more than 15 years ago. This year’s focus is expected to be the effects of climate change on Lake Tahoe. Capital Public Radio’s State Government Reporter Katie Orr is at the summit and joins us with more information.
