"The Romance of Old Havana" After photographers Jon Sousa and David Schroeder traveled to Cuba in 2012, they weren't quite ready to leave the rich culture of Old Havana behind. Instead, along with event organizer and friend John Griswold, they decided to make their "Havana Focus" photography exhibit the center of a fundraiser for agencies that aim to put the arts back in schools. "The Romance of Old Havana" event, held in Modesto tomorrow evening, will feature local Cuban music, dancing and food to complement these photos. Sousa and Griswold stop by our studio today to talk about the event and bringing Cuban culture to the Central Valley.
