Was it the most viewed political event in U.S. history?

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump squared off in their first televised debate, with hundreds of millions listening and watching the event.

How will the debate affect each candidate’s trajectory leading up to the November election and was there a clear winner and loser?

Sacramento State’s Director of Debate Kristin Tudor has been following all of the debates this political season; she’s joined by longtime political consultant Steve Swatt in studio to discuss.
