California State Library After four years dedicated to renovating the Stanley Mosk Library and Courts Building, it is starting to move back in, books which occupy 43 miles of shelving and contain 2 to 3 million volumes.  In a tour conducted by the California State Library Foundation's Gary Kurutz,  the Executive Director and Curator of Special Collections, Insight got a special look at the innermost vault as well as the new-and-improved building.  With plans to open this fall, the California State Library will be completely open to the public and continue to provide resources to public libraries throughout California.
