Tonight's show is dedicated to Mick Martin, who passed away this weekend. Mick hosted the Blues Party on KXJZ for 32 years. He brought to his craft as a broadcaster very strong journalistic skills, having written film reviews for several publications. Mick was a great ambassador for the blues, having toured with his band The Blues Rockers in many European countries. Mick recorded and performed at Carnegie Hall with jazz legend Jimmy Smith. Mick Martin represented CapRadio every time he set foot on stage and was always encouraging the next generation of musicians.
