Composers Hania Rani and Dobrawa Czocher

This episode is a repeat from October 16, 2021.

Have you ever been so busy that you've forgotten someone's birthday that perhaps you shouldn't have? Well, I certainly hope Steve Reich can forgive me. We missed our chance to celebrate his 85th on October 3rd - so we'll do it tonight on October 16th. That's not too late, right? We'll also head to the Magic Place with Julianna Barwick. And we'll turn our attention inside with the new album Inner Symphonies from the piano-cello-composer duo of Hania Rani and Dobrawa Czocher. It's a gorgeous world of complex emotions and journeys through despair, longing, but ultimately hope. There will always be hope!
