Songs From Isolation

Composers Paola Prestini and Magos Herrera recently released their new album "Con Alma" which combines influences from Classical, Jazz, and Latin music to create a profoundly hybrid and genre-defying work. Referred to as "an operatic tableau on isolation," "Con Alma" is also a thoroughly collaborative project employing nearly 30 musicians from around the world, all from their respective places of isolation. Also on the program, you'll hear music from the late ambient composer Harold Budd who passed away from complications of COVID-19 earlier this week. Shouthouse, Noveller, Blick Bassy and more are also featured on this week's Saturdays at 6.
