The album cover for "Tysha" by Ukrainian composer and electronic artist Katarina Gryvul.

In light of current events, I thought it would be appropriate to feature some Ukrainian artists and composers on the program this evening. Admittedly, my knowledge of the Ukrainian modern classical and art music scene isn't so deep but it was fun to scratch the surface over these past few days. I'll definitely be digging into the artists on tonight's show more as well as many others. There is a really compelling experimental music scene happening in the country.

It's also CapRadio's Spring Fund Drive. If you love genre-fluid and genre-defiant art music then donate to CapRadio today. Donate online or call 1-800-800-5867.
