The Debussy-Chopin Connection

Claude Debussy & Frederic Chopin

 

Claude Debussy had a deep love for the music of a composer who, a half-century before, had blazed a new path with his utterly individual style and keyboard sound.

“Chopin is the greatest of all,” Debussy said. “For with the piano alone he discovered everything.”
