A report on new home sales from a Roseville building industry group shows April was another strong month.

The North State Building Industry Association report on new home sales says April is the third consecutive month where the number of sales have been the highest in seven years in the Sacramento region.

The report says that means the regional market is likely stabilizing.

The Building Association says an average of 316 homes a month have been sold so far this year.

Most of the new homes sold were in Placer County and Elk Grove, with prices ranging from $300,000 to $500,000.
