Sean LaMarr and Jon Reyes (DLRN) are working class musicians, expertly crafting beats and rhymes in the capital city for years. Wednesday they held the official release party for their latest EP Neon Noir. They debuted more than new songs too. The live band has grown from LaMaar and Reyes to include regular collaborator Stevie Nader plus live percussion from OJ (drumk kit) and SOOSH*E. I spoke with LaMarr and Reyes before their show about DLRN’s live sound and the enduring appeal of the cassette.

According to Reyes, cassette owners of DLRN's new release are in for "something special."
