Joyce Elaine Yuille’s “Welcome To My World” won’t be released until April 28, but we’ll take a sneak peek at this wonderful offering from the Italian Schema label on this edition of Acid Jazz. Born in NYC, Joyce first worked as a runway model in Milano, before transitioning to a career as a vocalist with most soulful inflections. Her debut for Schema pairs her with Finish saxophonist Timo Lassy and producer Luciano Cantone, whose name is well known to Acid Jazz aficionados.
