The impeachment and trial of President Donald Trump is a significant and consequential moment in American history. That’s why CapRadio and NPR are committed to bringing you gavel-to-gavel coverage along with analysis and context so you can hear, see and understand the process. We believe it’s one of the most important roles of public media.

Each day, you can listen to the trial live on-air or streaming here at capradio.org. You'll also be able to watch the events live, and get updated information on the proceedings from NPR reporters.

Spend some time getting to know your neighbors in Meadowview. The South Sacramento neighborhood rose to prominence after a police shooting and the attention hasn’t always been positive. In Making Meadowview, CapRadio’s latest podcast from The View From Here, you’ll meet some of the residents making a difference for their neighbors.

Lake Tahoe is a jewel in the Sierra Nevada, but climate change threatens everything we love about it. In CapRadio’s TahoeLand podcast, Ezra David Romero takes us inside this petri dish for scientific research to see how Tahoe helps us confront the global climate crisis.
