FBI Releases New Information In Sherri Papini Kidnapping Case

The FBI released two new sketches today of the women Sherri Papini told investigators kidnapped her nearly a year ago.

The Shasta County woman was found battered and bruised alongside Interstate 5 in Yolo County on Thanksgiving morning in 2016, 22 days after she went missing.

Investigators say DNA samples taken from Papini revealed profiles for a male and a female. The profiles did not match that of her husband nor the truck driver who discovered her.

Deputies are working to identify obscure letters from a brand on her right shoulder that they say was of poor quality.

A reward of $10,000 has been established for information leading to the identification of the suspects.
