Police officers in Roseville are investigating an officer-involved shooting after a stabbing incident early Tuesday.
According to a statement from the City of Roseville, officers responded to the 1100 block of Windermere Avenue after reports of a middle-aged son stabbing his elderly father.
The shooting occurred once officers arrived at the scene.
Two people were taken to an area hospital. One person sustained a stab wound while another had a gunshot wound.
The officer was not injured. A two-block section of Windermere Avenue was shut down between Dawnridge and Baldwin due to the investigation. Only residents living in the immediate area are being allowed to enter.
