Chris Remington
Former Producer, Insight
Chris Remington knew he wanted to work in public radio beginning in middle school, as WHYY played in his car rides to and from school in New Jersey. He worked for Hofstra University’s station WRHU, covering music festivals and hosting the morning news program for 4 years. He’s freelanced for All Things Considered and was a desk associate for CBS Radio News in New York City.
Chris was looking for a major change of pace, so he drove cross country for a radio job in Sacramento. He enjoys exploring California’s expansive wilderness and making the occasional trips to San Francisco for live music and the beach. Chris joined Capital Public Radio’s “Insight with Beth Ruyak” in September 2016, booking a wide variety of guests, developing questions and producing music elements for the program.
