Program Overview
CapRadio’s Nonprofit Showcase Program highlights the organizations working every day to strengthen our community.
Participating organizations come into our studio to record a 30-second radio spot that shares their mission and impact. These messages air across CapRadio stations, reaching more than 350,000 listeners each week while highlighting the community-driven work happening throughout our region and connecting listeners with organizations making a difference.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for organizations that can articulate their purpose in a compelling way that connects with a broad audience. In your application, focus on clearly and concisely communicating your mission — especially how it aligns with contributing to community well-being in areas such as social services, education, arts and culture, the environment, health or civic engagement. Be sure to highlight the diversity of your programs and the communities you serve, and explain how your work connects to CapRadio’s public service mission.
How It Works
Step 1: Complete an application
Complete the
application form. You’ll need information about your nonprofit and a 30-second audio recording articulating your mission.
Step 2: Receive a response
You’ll receive an email confirmation on your submission with information on how to get in touch with us if you have any questions. Due to a large number of applications, you may not be contacted for a few months.
Step 3: Schedule a recording session
Selected nonprofits will receive an invitation to collaborate with the CapRadio marketing team on a scripted spot and schedule a 30-minute studio session. You’ll also receive tips on how to prepare for your visit.
Step 4: Hear your spots
Once finalized, your spot will begin airing along with other showcase participants. You may also be featured on our website.
Step 5: Share with your network
After the campaign, you’ll get a digital copy of your audio and assets to help share with your network. We’ll also ask for brief feedback on how the opportunity benefited your organization and your experience with the process.
