All new exhibits this year are being constructed for the "Magic of the Seasons" exhibit at Cal Expo.

The Global Winter Wonderland light show will return to Cal Expo in Sacramento this year with new exhibits.

Lauren Guevara is with the International Culture Exchange. She says about 100 employees from China are at Cal Expo to assemble the steel structures and cover them with brightly-colored silk.

"'Magic of the Seasons' is our theme this year. So, we've got all new lanterns. We've got lanterns for fall, spring, summer, and winter this year," she says. "So, we've got giant pumpkin patches. We've got gardens full of flowers, under-the-sea for summer, and a bunch of snowy stuff for the winter."

This is the first year Global Winter Wonderland has appeared in the same city twice.

Organizers had said before last year's event that if 300,000 people attended, the show would return.

Organizers are making no such promise this year.

The show opens November 14 and runs through January 3, 2016.

Last year's around-the-world exhibit has been moved to Tulare this season.
