Welcome To CapRadio Music

  •  Al Gibes
Monday, June 9, 2014 | Sacramento, CA

CapRadio Music focuses on four musical genres: Classical, Jazz, Roots and Eclectic (which is our catch all). You can expect features on musicians from our region, reviews of live performances and new releases, previews of upcoming concerts, and a deep dive into the growing local music scene.

Music fans can still listen live to our four digital channels, check playlists and schedules, and catch shows they may have missed. There's also music news from NPR and many opportunites for you to share or comment on the stories.

We've streamlined the design, paying close attention to the growing number of people using mobile phones and tablets to stay connected. This is very much a work in progress, and you'll notice more sections of the website moving into the cleaner, "responsive" design in the coming months.

The navigation across all of CapRadio.org has been modified to accommodate the enhanced Music section. Most items are still in their familiar location, but the "Classical" and "Jazz" links have been replaced with a single link to the "Music" section. You'll also find links to all CapRadio-produced news and music programs under the "Programs" link.

We've designed the site to be an extension of what you hear on-air, making it easier to find recent shows, links to stories, and ways to share our content and show your support.

Spend some time familiaizing yourself with the music sections, and let us know what you think. We welcome your ideas and input!
