Florin Area Shooting Injures Three Teens

  •  Steve Milne
Thursday, December 26, 2013 | Sacramento, CA

All three teens were taken to area hospitals: one suffered critical injuries; another was treated and is expected to survive; and the other teen had non-life threatening wounds.

The shootings happened on 29th Street, near Martin Luther King Junior Park.

Police investigators say they're still looking for a motive, but it looks like the victims were among a group of teens who were approached by two men.

A verbal fight escalated into gunfire when the two suspected reportedly took out guns and began shooting.

Detectives are still interviewing witnesses.
