Insight Studio Sessions: Brubeck Institute's Joel M. Ross and Simon Rowe

  •  Andrew Nixon
Thursday, June 5, 2014

Last October vibraphonist Joel M. Ross came by the CapRadio studios for a performance. Ross is part of the Brubeck Institute Jazz Quintet. Here he performs Dave Brubeck's composition "In Your Own Sweet Way" with Institute Direcotr Simon Rowe.

Five musicians from the Brubeck Institute at the University of the Pacific in Stockton traveled to Washington D.C. in early October for a reprisal of Dave Brubeck's 1988 jazz diplomacy performance.

Beth Ruyak talks with Brubeck Institute Director Simon Rowe and with the group's vibraphonist Joel M. Ross about how the trip went.
