Greg Micek is a Northern California-based journalist and Newsroom Producer at CapRadio. Greg’s work has appeared in student, regional and national publications, covering everything from higher education and economic equity to local culture and public health.

He brings a background in investigative and solutions journalism, as well as experience with data-driven storytelling. Prior to returning to school Greg worked for two decades in leadership, operations, and data analytics; experience that now informs his reporting.

Outside of journalism, he’s passionate about aviation, history, independent video games, and spending time with his family.
