Sacramento’s Rio Americano High School has a long list of alumni dominating creative industries and engaged in the community at large.

Alumna Merrin Dungey has a long career in Hollywood, including a key role as a detective in the Emmy award winning series Big Little Lies. Tony Asuro spent 14 years directing community relations for the Sacramento Rivercats.

The two reflect on their time growing up in Sacramento and their professional careers ahead of the Evening with the Stars event at Rio Americano this weekend.
