Kenny Barron is considered one of the most influential and lyrical pianists in contemporary jazz. Barron taught at Rutgers for 25 years, influencing an entire generation of great musicians. He worked for several years with jazz legends Freddie Hubbard and Stan Getz and has composed over 50 classic compositions. In 2022, Kenny was inducted into the Downbeat Magazine Hall of Fame.
