Not the Usual Lullaby.
My brother and I shared a bedroom when we were young children. Sometimes we would continue talking too long after lights-out. Our mother, a musician, would promise to play a favorite song on the organ if we would settle down.
We always asked for what we called the “Ta-Da-Dah - - - -“ song. Our choice of lullaby? Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D Minor! Many years later, thanks to my mother, I still enjoy playing, singing, and listening to classical music.
