If you have an idea to help improve Lake Tahoe, a non-profit group would like to hear from you.
The Tahoe Fund is asking for project ideas for the new year.
Project ideas should improve water quality, watersheds, forest health, and/or transportation.
"The private funding that we can help provide by the generosity of our donors will be matched for significantly more public funding, so that private dollars that come are really the difference between the project happening and not happening," says Amy Berry, CEO of the Tahoe Fund.
The Tahoe Fund has previously raised money to pay for new bike paths, watershed projects, and removal of invasive species.
It is currently working to restore the Rubicon/Lighthouse Trail and complete a new Taylor Creek Overlook.
People and organizations have until January 29 to submit a project.
