The Sacramento Kings have received the giant "Piglet" sculpture from artist Jeff Koons.
The metallic piece is part of Koons "Coloring Book" series and is based on the Winnie The Pooh character.
The Kings and the City of Sacramento paid about $9 million for it as part of a public art campaign.
The Sacramento City Council decision to make the purchase was controversial. The art community was split over the purchase of a New York artist's piece as the focal point of art at the new Golden 1 Center.
About $1 million went to northern California artists.
The Koons' piece will be unveiled September 26th.
