Update: 8-Year-Old Found Safe, Amber Alert Canceled

8:30 A.M. -- A missing boy who was the subject of an Amber Alert this morning has been found unharmed by Fairfield Police.

Eight-year-old Brock Guzman was taken shortly before 5 a.m. as he was sleeping in the backseat of a silver 2001 Toyota Corolla in front of his mother's Fairfield home.

The car's engine was running when it was taken. CHP says the Amber Alert has been canceled. 

The AMBER Alert out of Fairfield, CA for Brock Guzman has been canceled. Guzman was safely located approximately 5 miles from his home.

6:30 A.M. -- The California Highway Patrol has issued an Amber Alert in Solano County and surrounding areas, including Yolo, Contra Costa, Sacramento and Napa counties, for a child abduction that occurred just before 5 a.m. in Fairfield.

The child's name is Brock Guzman, and he's an 8 year old, white male, 5 foot 1 inch tall, 110 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Brock Guzman was last seen wearing a gray shirt with blue pants.

The suspect is unknown, possibly driving a 2001 Silver Toyota Corolla.

Be on the lookout for California license plate number: 5BWF072. CHP asks the public to report possible sightings to 911.

According to the Fairfield police, the boy was last seen in the silver Corolla, owned by his parents. The vehicle was stolen in front of the family's home with the boy inside.
