Authorities, Ranchers Wrangle Cow On The Loose In Elk Grove

Wednesday, May 7, 2014 | Sacramento, CA

A cow that was disrupting traffic Wednesday morning in the area of Highway 99 and Stockton Boulevard in Elk Grove has been captured safely.

KCRA-TV reports the cow was lassoed by a couple of ranchers on horseback and transported to a trailer.

KCRA says the agitated female cow had been running in the roadway and in a shopping center parking lot and had charged at several officers.

If you want to wrangle a cow, who else would you call but a cowboy with his trusty lasso? http://t.co/58uKPX3Abg pic.twitter.com/Vdff0Bq1tF
