Covered California Enrollment Figures For Sacramento Region Released

The new figures from the state show that about half that many have enrolled in subsidized or non-subsidized health insurance plans. That's about 6 percent of the statewide enrollment.

Statewide, more than 777,000 people have begun the application process, while about 109,000 have enrolled in plans, and about 179,000 were determined to be likely eligible for Medi-Cal.

There's one week left to enroll in coverage that takes effect Jan. 1.
