2014 California International Marathon Slide Show

  •  Al Gibes

A trio of runners lead the pack at the 20-mile mark of the California International Marathon, Dec. 7, 2014 in Sacramento. Jacob Chemtai, center (No. 9), was the race winner.

The intersection of Fair Oaks and Munroe is a busy spot along the California International Marathon course. A hydration station is just up the road, and a team relay switch spot is just past the corner. Spectators have easy access to cheer on their family and friends, and we were there to share a sliver of the race day.
