Joe DeMike with Google says workshops like this one will enable small business owners to set up their websites.
"About 97 percent of people who use the internet use the internet to find products and services to purchase online, but 58 percent of small businesses don't have a website," DeMike said.
Google estimates that over the next three years businesses that use the web can expect to grow 40 percent faster than those that don't.
Kerry Cain works in an auto body shop in Lodi and wants prospective customers to know about it.
"This is the place that's going to help me, they are going to give me the quality service, they're going to give me what I want, how I want it in a timely manner to really benefit them," Cain said.
Google is providing the workshops at no charge to small businesses.
