Gov. Gavin Newsom issued a new statewide order last week making mask-wearing in most public places the law of the land.

Californians are now required to wear face masks and coverings in public or high-risk settings despite some local unwillingness to enforce the order. It comes as cases of  COVID-19 continue to rise in various areas across the state.

We check in with a handful of mayors around the region with their thoughts on the Governor’s new order, and more.

Today's Guests:

  • Stockton Mayor Michael Tubbs
  • Chico Mayor Ann Schwab
  • West Sacramento Mayor Chris Cabaldon
  • Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg
