Mark McLaughlin is an award-winning author who has written about the Donner Party, the mafia at Lake Tahoe and train wrecks in the Sierra Nevada. His writings seem to have struck a chord with the editors of the Sierra College e-journal “Snowy Range Reflections, the Journal of Sierra Nevada History and Biography.” The Winter 2015-2016 edition of the journal is comprised entirely of McLaughlin’s work.
