Film Gives A New Look At Horror House Friday, September 11, 2015 | Sacramento, CA Listen / download audio Update RequiredTo play audio, update browser or Flash plugin. Some people might be afraid to live in the home of a former serial killer. But not Tom Williams and Barbara Holmes. They’re the new tenants of serial killer Dorothea Puente’s former home in Downtown Sacramento. They’re also the subject of a new short film by Nicholas Coles called “The House is Innocent.” The award-winning film shows how the couple’s humor and charm have restored the once-dark house into a bright, warm home. The 12 minute film is being screened at the Sacramento Film and Music Festival Saturday afternoon. Williams and Holmes will also be giving tours of their home on Saturday. All proceeds will go to the Francis House Center to aid in their assistance of Sacramento's homeless population. Coles, Williams and Holmes join us ahead of Saturday’s events. All films for the Sacramento Film and Music Festival are being shown at the Jean Runyon Theater in Memorial Auditorium.
